Our friends at The Joke Mill wanted to launch a innovative new show blending the lines between karaoke and comedy. They wanted help branding & identity: they wanted a logo that would reflect the fun vibe while promoting that the show was professional run, and they needed posters/banners for print & social media. They also saught strategy for their project.
First we helped them shortlist their shows new name.
Then we designed a logo that works both digitally and physically, large and small, as it would be utilised interchangeably. The logo could show up on stamps at their shows, so it was crucial the mark worked on small scales with imperfections.
The final result is a fun, modern trademark that plays on the shows title with flexibility to be used in a variety of mediums.
Posters were designed to be hung in clubs and used as banners in social media. These graphics were to be used over a longer timeline, so we had to make sure they would stay fresh for readers, the finished product could be utilised throughout the year.
